The Albemarle-Pamlico National Estuary Partnership (APNEP) Science & Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) provides scientific and technical guidance to the Partnership on measures to restore and protect the natural resources of the Albemarle-Pamlico region. The Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) aims to engage regional communities and organizations in decision-making in order to represent diverse perspectives within the estuary partnership.
The STAC and CAC host meetings every four to six months to discuss a variety of topics pertinent to APNEP activities. Recent topics include, but are not limited to ecosystem-based management, ecosystem modeling, and understanding community need and hazards.
All of APNEP STAC and CAC meetings are open to members of the general public.
