Heather Jennings
Heather Boyette Jennings joined APNEP in 2018, bringing 18 years of experience working in scientific research, contract management, and watershed restoration implementation. Prior to joining APNEP, Heather served as the North Carolina 319h Nonpoint Source Grant Administrator, implementing large scale watershed restoration projects as well as technical BMP inspections and grant oversight. Previously, Heather served as a research associate with North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine conducting fresh water mussel stream surveys and laboratory research identifying Perkinsus marinus in the Eastern Oyster. Heather holds a B.S. degree in Zoology with a concentration in Fisheries and Wildlife Science from North Carolina State University.
