Nate Marsh

Nate joined APNEP in August of 2026 as a NC STEM Policy Fellow, through North Carolina Sea Grant. His work as a fellow is primarily focused on compiling and analyzing policy and regulations surrounding wetlands, and supporting the CCMP to refine and implement a regional wetland protection and restoration strategy. Prior to joining APNEP, he has conducted wetlands research and advocacy for the North Carolina Coastal Federation and Coastal Carolina Riverwatch, along with working as a Grant Writer for the City of Asheboro. Nate holds a Master of Public Policy and a B.A. in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
