Restore and conserve habitat necessary to support coastal, estuarine-dependent, and diadromous fish species along the U.S. Atlantic Coast. ACFHP anticipates supporting 2-3 projects ranging from $35,000 – $100,000 in FY2027. The RFP closes Friday, September 25, 2026.
The Restore America's Estuaries Watersheds Grant Program is a nationally competitive grants program designed to support projects that address urgent, emerging, and challenging issues threatening the well-being of estuaries within the 28 NEP location boundary areas.

APNEP has partnered with a diverse group of stakeholders involved in growing, harvesting, studying, managing and eating oysters to protect and restore North Carolina's oyster habitats and fishery.
The ANS Steering Committee works to discuss updates and a timeline for an updated ANS Management Plan at the state and federal level. The Plan will aid in the coordination of NGOs, state, and federal agencies to tackle management and outreach of aquatic invasive species.
