Career Experiences: Prior to East Carolina University, I served as a Research Analyst at the University of Arizona Water Resources Research Center and as a post-doctoral scholar through the Ken Alberman Fellowship in Water, Society, and Geopolitics at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. As a human-environment geographer, I specialize broadly on transboundary conflict, cooperation, planning, and management of natural resources. More specifically, I focus on water security, water governance, and hydropolitics at multiple scales. Some of my North Carolina-focused work includes researching procedures and conditions for ecological flows in North Carolina’s coastal plain and investigating how community co-production of research can help identify drivers that impact social and environmental resilience for communities in the Tar-Pamlico Basin.
